Yodas Spay nxt week and bonding??

Sam&Yoda

Hi all

Bit of a crazy week here. We got our new husbun for Yoda 2 days ago and bonding seems to be going well. Hes neutered but only a few weeks ago. We are keeping Obi our boy in cage at mo and Yoda is free range but spends most of her time staring at Obi and lying next to him thru cage. Yodas booked in for spay on Friday and just had a few questions...

As they are not fully bonded yet is it best for me to take both in so that wen Yoda is out of her op she'll be in a cage next to Obi? Or is it best to leave him at home? I really dont want to go back any steps with bonding.

Is it right to leave her alone in cage for 1 week before allowing them to go together?

Im going to order vet bed for the cage for recovery...is this best?

After mix up at RSPCA with husbun if she is pregnant (very unlikely) is she still ok going for spay?

Any other help/advice would be welcomed.

Thanks

Sam

Hiya

If they can have them next to each other at the vets then thats great for them to travel side by side and then have him next door just so that when she gets home she doesn't smell wierd to him. Seeing as they aren't fully bonded yet though, it won't be too big a problem if she goes alone but if they can then fab!

Give her 10 days to heal and then you can start the full bonding! :D

Vet bed is fine for her :)

The vet will check her over but let them know its a possibility so they are prepared and to check she isn't heavily pregnant. If they opened her up and found she was in early pregnancy there would not usually be any complications with the spay :)

Good luck with it all!
