You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Could someone please tell me if my 2 new bunnies aged 9 weeks should be eating there soft poos now cos they seem to be doin them all over n leavin them , these are usually in the litter tray when i go out to see to them first thing on a mornin like little bunches of grapes :?

Hi

Well i'm not too sure about kits however when our girl was doing excessive 'cecotrophes' squidgy poo, we were told she must be eating them other wise her 2nd stomach the 'caceum' would have shut down by now if she hadn't been eating them. So I would imagine it is the same they must be eating some of them the reason they may be producing too many is either too much rich grass/greens so give more hay or not enough hay so again add moer hay it should help. But I wouldn't worry as long as it isn't diapoo and they seem 'hoppy' enough. xxx

They are just havin hay n the food the lady gave me who i bought the bunnies from n i am just addin a small amount of the pellets i have for them each day they are havin nothing else they are eating n drinkin like theres no tomorrow n runnin around happily :)

i am no expert but i don't think you are meant to see them,up the hay and cut down on the dried food.I have 2 13 week buns and they get 4/5 teaspoons of pellets per day and lots of hay.Have only just started to introduce veg,hth
