Moulting in clumps

Hi I have only had my adopted rabbits a few weeks, they are both four and half years old and Scruffy, a white lop eared male has started moulting a lot. His fur seems to be coming out in clumps, although he doesn't seem bothered and doesn't have any bald patches or anything. Is this normal or could he be ill or stressed? I'm really worried about him. Coco is much shorter haired but she doesn't seem to be moulting much at all.

Doesn't sound like much to worry about. You can gently tease the tufts out to tidy him up a bit. :)

Thanks. I did brush him the other night and he loved it so I could try that again. I have been panicking incase I am doing something wrong and making him stressed! My husband thinks I am mad.

You should be able to tell the difference. If it is a moult there will be a clear sort of 'line' where you can see the moult working it's way down. Or the turts will be in a skirt around the bottom.

Does it look kinda like this?

Mine are in a late moult this year too and are finally looking smart again! They were clumpy too :D

yes mine is maulting now too

i comb him with a metal flea comb and it really pulls the clumps out!

cant do his **** though withough getting a nip! so he is quite tufty down there!

Bud is very short haired and I can see a line where he has been moulting.

Stella is very fluffy and her fur is coming out in tufts - I'm surprised she's got any left, she moulting that much!!! No matter how much I brush her, it gets everywhere!!!
