  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Vet in Stratford upon Avon?

Can anyone recommend a vet around Stratford? I am not particularly happy with the vet I found in our local village 'Henley in Arden'.

Thanks

 Im sorry I only know the one on Henley High Street they actually do my horse. Would Wythall or Solihull be too far for you to come theres Pets Vaccination Clinic in Wythall and The 608 in Solihull ? Perhaps looking in the Yellow Pages may help you too :)

Stratford would be ideal as it's only 20 minutes away...
The vet in Henley was very nice and friendly, but I was charged £32.66 (see my other thread!) for a myxi jab which is why i am looking around...

Acorns at Studley near Redditch

They have a very rabbit-savvy vet (I think her name's Christine) who "does" for Hopper Haven's rabbits. Ours too, by recommendation.

yikes.....I get two jabs for that and the mixi booster thrown in free if you get it done during pet vaccination month....plus a check up where my vet tells me my buns are fat and I shouldn't feed them pellets.....It's worth it just for that :D:D:D
