i would like to bond my two male rabbits

hi i have two male rabbit one is 2 years old and other im unsure of as he is a rescue bun and i would love it if they could comeout in their run together and hopefully live in the same hutch when i put them together in the run today thumper the older one kept pinning patch down and humping him. then patch did it thumper, and thumper just ran and hid,
should i just kept letting out together for short periods of times
any idea would be really helpful

are they both neutered?

As above they should both be neutred before you attempt it.

You should also try and bond them on neutral ground. ie ground that neither of them thinks as his own. If they are both put in the run at different times then they will both think of it as 'theirs' and may cause problems.
