Messy Poos!

Sometimes our rabbits do tiny little non-smelling round ball poos and other times they do big, black soggy ones!

As we have two I am not sure who is doing what poos?! But I don't often see Primrose eating much Hay and I think this could be the cause of it?

Am I right or could there be another problem? Thanks

Are the 'soggy ones' unformed caecotrophs ? These are the soft poos that look like a minature bunch of grapes. Bunnies are supposed to eat them straight from their bum. But if the Bunny is a poor hay eater or is fed too much concentrated feed they often dont eat all their caecotrophs.

As your Bun is a poor hay eater I'd advise you get her teeth checked. Hay/grass are essential for healthy dentition and GI function
