poppies and buttercups

I've recently moved house and realise I have a few dodgy plants for bunnies in it!

How dangerous are buttercups? Have a few in the lawn.
Are all types of poppy poisonous or just the red opium poppies? I have some small yellow ones that have seeded themselves all over the place!

hi, i'm not sure but i would think buttercups are poisonious to rabbits, they are to most types of livestock, causing photosensitivity and in more severe cases convulsions and death. it is safe for livestock to eat dried in hay.
the poppies sound like welsh poppies, don't know about them, but i think i would be wary of letting anything eat them.

Well, my lawn is COVERED with buttercup and though I try not to let Smudge eat them he just loves them and every time I leave him he is eating them!
