We took Florence (Conti) in at 11 weeks (we were told on the phone it would be 6 months before she was big enough) she was done a week later.
Kitty (French lop) was also done at about 11 weeks.
The bigger they get the more anaesthetic they will need. This may make the procedure more expensive at some places, I'm not sure if it affects the risk.

I've just booked one in to be deplummed at the begining of July and he will be approx 6 months old. Our vets charge one price regardless of bun size.

Pepper was done at 12 weeks, The vet said they where happy to do it as he weighed 2.9kgs and plums had droped.
It would have cost alot more if he weighed 3kg. Hes now 4 months and weighs 4kgs!

B[a french lop]was done at 6months but my vet said she wouldn't do her before 5months anyway.Suppose its different from vet to vet.

Sorry forgot to say i think males can be done earlier but its years since ive had a buck so not sure-very helpful!!:lol:

Both of ours are girls, both done at about 11/12 weeks.
