Smudge got out of tha dog crate!! I'm puzzled

I went up to feed the buns in the bedroom last night. They were all away in their dog crates, except Smudge who was wandering about in the room. Her dog crate that she shares with Dudley was locked.

Now she is quite a small bun and there are gaps at the bottom on the crate but she's never done that before and I couldn't figure out exactly where she got out.

I'm very confused. :?

Not too long until their out in the shed though.

I think Clutterydrawer said she had the same problem with Sorrel squeezing through a tiny gap at the bottom of her dog crate.

It's just strange that Smudge's never done it before. Unless she has been doing it regularly and just got busted last night :lol::lol:

marsha did that once... she got shut in the bathroom when nick went in middle of night, consequently she didn't do it again...

Ive attached those cavy cage panels to my dog crate i was scared Dandy would squeeze through the gaps

Haha Boris is like that too. He always seems to find a way to get out.
Which is why we keep him in a cage during the day.

Smudge has obviously been learning tricks from Sorrel :roll:


I think sometimes they just puzzle at something for ages then finally work out how to do it, hence him not having done it before.
