2 new bunnys

wendle

Warren Veteran
I have reserved 2 new bunnys which will be ready 2nd july they are both females (sisters) an the lady who bred them told me they will be fine together thru their life if they are kept together ?

To ensure (hopefully) that they'll continue to get on it is recommended that you have them neutered. Neutering removes the hormones that can cause 'stroppy mare' behaviour!

This can be done around 6 months, depending on your vet. It will cost anywhere between £50-£100 per rabbit depending on your vet.

Neutering also reduces the risk of uterine cancer by up to 85% so well worth doing.

Bear in mind there is always a risk when small animals go under anaesthetic.

Good luck with the new buns :)
