Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

What should rabbit wee look like?

Wise Old Thumper
Hi folks.

Lola did a wee on my cream sofa last night and as I was cleaning it up I noticed it was pale yellow in colour but not clear and watery like ours would be it was kind of thicker and a bit "creamy" (sorry if your having breakfast)

She is weeing OK in her litter tray - and seems in excellent health and is glugging away at her water bottle. I am feeding her the Excel pellets - she gets 2 egg cups in the morning and 2 egg cups on a evening.

Any advice would be well appreciated.

Thank you!

Barlays wee ranges from white to yellow to rusty coloured.I guess it depends on what she eats and how much she drinks that day. When she had cystitis it was quite crusty in texture.
