Is it possible...for

..a rabbit just not being able to stomach veggies...?

Only Bella doesnt seem to be able too..When i first got her i tried her on tiny tiny tiny amounts, which gave her dirahoea...So i stopped and just fed her hay...

I tried her again on Sunday and yesterday morning her cage was a right state....again..

She now just has pellets and hay...

I've heard of a few that can't - but a tiny amount is just one mouthful, of only one type of veg, slowly increased over 2 weeks, with alternate days having no veg for the first few days, so you can check poos. Also if you gave a probiotic at the same time that might help them digest it, but really it doesn't matter - they are more for a treat than anything else

I find that my bun is fine on pellets and grass, a few herbs and strawberry leaves, the odd dandelion and the occasional raspberry leaf, and of coarse hay, if I give her even small amounts of veg i.e. carrot, spring greens or anything else , it upsets her tummy and she produces to many soft poo's that make a real mess! she seems happy enough with what I give her....
