Fred has been in Hospital today. He was found to have enlarged Lymph nodes a few months ago and was losing weight. Christabel feared he may have a Lymphoma ( cancer ). On some days Fred is obviously 'not right' but there has not been the deterioration Christabel expected. Today Fred was due to have a Dental, tear duct flush and blood tests. However, on examination Christabel said his Lymph nodes are now NORMAL  So she felt a blood test un-necessary at this stage. Fred had his Dental where some nasty spurs were burred. Only one tearduct could be flushed as the other is now permanently blocked by an elongated tooth root. Christabel feels that the pain this may at times cause him is the reason for his apparent malaise on some days. She believes the Lymphodenopathy was an incidental finding that has now resolved. She said sometimes this can happen.
Obviously Fred has chronic Dental Disease which will need lifelong management. But it appears that he may NOT have a cancer
Jane and Fred xx
