bonsai trees

would it be ok to buy some bonsai trees for the bun? i know you could get willow ones, these wont be poisinous would they?

any ideas or thoughts anyone?

Why would you want to?

Genuine bonsai trees are very expensive. Why not go and cut some small willow branches instead? At least those are free and someone else's hard work won't have gone to waste.

I don't think they would be poisonous but I also don't think they would do any good as bonsais are stunted, and I imagine would have virtually no nutrients.

Plus it would be a waste of an expensive plant! :lol:

Nice idea though, just get one for yourself to admire, we have several

You can get a 5ft twisted willow from Tesco garden shops for 9.99
I bought some last summer and use them for the buns
