has anyone seen it cheaper anywhere?

after serious consideration on new plastic based cage for newly weds..ive come to the conlcusion again that a hutch with run under is better and a playpen attached to that.

its a trixie one ive found...problem is pictures are the same but the sizes and prices are different but ive not seen the size of the bigger one anywhere else.
Has anyone seen this anywhere else hopefully cheaper?

http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Th...ble Decker Rabbit Guinea Pig Hutch & Run Cage

if you enlarge the picture it looks just like this one

http://www.dabners.co.uk/product-48...it-hutch-with-enclosure-123-x-76-x-96-cm.html

wow what a diff in price..i didnt think it was much difference in size till i measured it up!!

itll go where an armchair and cat tree is right now..they will have the coolness in the summer and in the winter theheating will rise up to the top layer nayway for warm cudles and snoozes.....

its for indoors yes thats right indoors but i want to put the litter tray and food n water in the bottom as we have lino in the lounge...and a playpen attcahed the doors in the cgae they can just step out instead of having to have ramps..and i was looking to get a cage on a stand to give them more safety away from looming humans as theywalk past and lift the cage down for run aorunds....
i think now i have decided its a better option if i can find it maybe alittle cheaper!

mind you this is what we were going to get

and stand
http://www.dabners.co.uk/product-5128-trixie-rabbit-150-stand-for-rabbit-150-indoor-cage.html

or this

and stand

but if i ofund lifting the cage too much for me and the buns id have had to put up a ramp for them....not safe enough

so i guess looking at prices its not far off what i was going topay for the hutch after all.
no dont mention dog crates..theyre a wste unless you hva someone to build you a second storey..thats why my rottweiler one now is with my niece for her rabbit...and why i have the argos large dog one going begging if nayones near enough to me!

at the moment bif n bandit are in her £29.99 cage..a montana 100 i think it is...from jollyes pet store last year. and are refusing to come out as theye bunnymooning:shock: so i need to get something soon....or drag them out and let them scrabble at the closed cage..too mean..

I bought the 150 and stand from Dee millen Rabbit accessories for about £100 for both, I've fixed a ramp up with one of those green bunny warren tunnels also from Dee, on it the buns just whiz through that, great fun and safe.:p:p

The first wooden cage has got a very small wire panel, you wont see much of them in that.:?:?

really..wow..problem is there are 2 idiot cats who share all the bunnies..and the boy one thinks he is a rabbit..i can see him getting stuck in the green tubing:shock::lol::lol:

how did you fix it..have you any pics? before i splash out cash i dont have that is:oops: is that an online shop you got yours from or a local pet supply place....?

mm did you enlarge the picture onthe first one? i thought it wasnt bad wire size for watching them and it will have a pen attached to oneof the doors...just not overnite as i cant trust willow in case she gets over the divide..berties fine but then hes not the biggest frenchie i have ever seen! willow is and her n bif are at loggerheads since the failed bonding over dec and january..well it did work but not for long only a few weeks.

is the giant trixie one really too small? im no good at that only comparing it to what theyre in now which is cruel as they are refusing to come out:(

I forgot I was supposed to bring the cage over, do you still need it, I've been free all this week?

 i thought i pmd you to say it was ok theyre in one cage already:oops:

good job were both absent minded:lol::lol:

its too cute those two loved up but they dont want out..i fell im intruding on someones date:lol::lol:
need the floor space back..thats why im thinking double storey or up on a stand gives the floor space back for extra run arounds..or in berties case..slob arounds:lol:

the weenies are happy together but need to be kept seperate from willow and bertie although they have calmed down with bertie..he goes and does the odd cage chin but usually to sniff and rub noses..awww

oooh I like that first hutch, the big one :p I've got my piggies indoors in hutches and I don't know why people don't like hutches indoors - they look much nicer than crates or cages, and of course being wood you can paint them to match your decor (not that I will ever get around to that  )

oooh and I love that website for the first hutch too :p I MUST get a hamster now, just so's I can buy this  http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Th...UMBER BED hamster gerbil mouse HOUSE HIDE OUT

I find cages easier to clean, and easier to get the animals out of, just because of the door in the top, and the way the top comes off - I feel like I'm going caving sometimes cleaning my hutches - could do with a head lamp

www.deemillenrabbitaccessories.co.uk

She very helpful, just explain what u need.. I think indoor cage neat and tidy being very tidy boy not
warren tube very bendable, can use cable ties.... I love cable ties ;)

 elve...sad thing is i think the sites a bit sus..no contact details:shock:

 oh yes now i want another hammy too..its been years......but cant with nikki...shes got m.e amd somehow always seems to get strep throat or similar and it kills rodents..killed our hammy some years back and she never forgave herself..its cos of this problem we eneded up with a house bun in the ofrst place all those years back:lol:

i love the stuff they have for hammys now...so cute.

mm i cant find that big cage anywhere now...have asked dabners but awaiting reply.

my younger daughter took me to p a home today to look at the sizes of hutches..i nearly keeled over..no matter how you use the tape measure at home you dont appreicate the isze of things till you see them. i laughed as my 2yr old grandaughter could have walked aorund happily in the lavendar lodge and the thyme run....

the lavendar lodge would be pefect as a snooze room for bertie but maybe ven willow but with the dorrs open 24/7 to the lounge like htey do now with thier tent..so when their tent finally gives up being nibbled etc i know what to get:lol:

i was actually pretty impressed with the lavendar lodge and the thistle hall...i didnt think theyd be that big!
kudos to the guy there who said theyre the best size for bunny esp 2 living togehter..didnt ry to make me buy anything and raised his eyebrows when i asked about sage hall..mm he said its rather a lot smaller...ok indoors if you leave the doors open all the time...i nealry fainted:lol:

as for the savic caage..pics make it look smalller..is a nice cage but ive decided now

smaller trixie hutch
http://www.dabners.co.uk/product-48...it-hutch-with-enclosure-123-x-76-x-96-cm.html

or thistle hall

http://www.petsathome.com/find/product-is-13200

im going to attach a run/playpen so one door is always open into it and im going to put the litter tray..one of my remaining ferplast trio ones for the little uns they can pee side by side etc so much room and not as much chance of peeing over the sides..unless bandits on stilts:lol:

hmm which one which one.....i forgot to ask in p a home if the black flor was the wipable stuff..anyone know?

witht he trixie one you can lift the roof seperately both sides so no need for miners helmets with lamps:lol:

 thank you biggles bunny..i really appreciate that..but ive decided to go hutch double storey after seeing the one in p a home today...so much easier for my lazy shortlegged little babies...mind you that nero 4 cage was much bigger than it looked online too..
with a stand on wheels our frnehcie willow would be mean enough to get the brakes off and push them out of the lounge:shock::lol:

if i change my m ind again..and its always possible with me ill give the companmy a ring thank you....

only thing im nervous about gettng a hutch is how on earth will i put it togehter:shock::oops:
