Wise Old Thumper
My 9+ years old netherland dwarf x is looking very stiff recently, as though his hips/knees don't have any movement, and his coat is not looking so shiny etc.
He has a bit of an on/off eye thing as well - which was under control but has come back so I guess he is feeling low.
For the last week I have put him on 2 drops of metacam a day (he's only about 1.3 kg now), and a few extra bits of the food 'mix' as well as his pellets - to try and put weight on him.
I know there is no cure for age - but I am sure its this rotten weather thats making him suddenly look and feel very elderly - (its rained all week here)
Has anyone any ideas of anything we could do to help him? He lives outside with his two friends - and moving them all indoors isn't really an option as we already have two pairs indoors. So any other ideas anyone?? Anything will be considered and all suggestions very welcome.
