Indiechic

Wise Old Thumper
Since bailey had his teeth trimmed just over a week ago, his eyes have stopped watering completely and his teeth haven't grown...

will regular trimming now improve it later on?

Their eyes usually run because the tooth roots are pressing on the tear duct. Trimming his teeth regularly won't help with this although it is extremely important you still do this, it will just keep him feeling 'comfortable' in his mouth. My bridge bun Sox suffered with runny eyes alot because of this , he had to have the tear ducts flushed a couple of times to help aliviate it along with having regular dentals because his teeth were awful. Has your bun had a head x-ray?

his eyes haven't run since the day it was done.

Might work for Bailey then? Hope so. Sox's eyes didn't continuosly run he would have episodes of it which is why went for the head x-ray in the end to find out what was going on, which then showed up the tooth roots pressing on the tear duct as the vet had first thought.
