Zippy has mites Ivermec help

Zippy has mites, I was going to get xeno 450 from vets, but they charge £27.99 for the box, I was like forget that as I know I can get it for £16 off the net.

Anyway I've found this....

This is going to work out more cost effective for fours isn't? It says it does 50 pigeons and they take one drop, so that's 50 drops in the bottle and there are the drops for rabs weight.

Same thing isn't it?

Ta :D

I use the beapher Ivermectin drops there only about £3.99 from P@H and other petshops. They take a bit longer to work than the injections but I've always had good results from them :)

Well I did go to pets at home, to get some, but there is none left, is it mite season or something , I ended up with this really cute bed for Nibbles though :oops:

She don't seem that impressed with it, it looks really comfy too :lol::lol:

Thanks four that link :thumb:, I am trying to work out which would be more cost effective now, I would have to do four bunsters, all around 3kg (although perhaps should weigh a bit less )

You would need 4 pipettes for a 3kg bunny which is one box, so thats about £3.99 per rabbit.

Hope that helps

Thanks hun, it may be worth buying the bottle up the top, as it would have a few more dossages in.

Carlton just had mites and Thea's Bobbin is just being treated, maybe mites are on the rampage!

Can't we become the anti-mite squad?!

Purplebumble used the Ivermectin stuff from Pharmaq you mention at the top, I think she had a lot of success with it, definitely cost effective if you are treating several buns :)

i would ask the vet about a bottle of 0.8% ivomec, similar bottle to the pharmaq one but from the vet it's around a tenner...they'll always try to fob you off with xeno 450 which is so pricey.
