thank you for your comments!! i was never really into rabbits, my sister had one i didn't pay much interest to and then it died and she got another one. this one wasn't so friendly apparently so she kinda left her and never paid her anymore attention and went and bought a giant rabbit that is really friendly, and this poor little rabbit then got no attention whatsoever so i took her on. this ins my rabbit now, and she is called hugo. when my sister first had her she was told she was a boy, and we took her to vet for check up and he said she was a girl but her name suits her so much we kept it!!

so we had hugo for a while and she was all nervous and we didn't really know what to do, we just kinda accepted that she would be one of those rabbits that doesn't socialise.

one day i had to go get some hay from pet shop and i saw this gorgeous big rabbit in a really small hutch and i wanted her straight away, i felt relly sorry for her, she was so lovely. i askd was she for sale, and kinda thinking i wouldn't be allowed to get her (i had to ask my husband) i just bought the hay and left saying i may be back once i've spoken to him. went to the car and i asked him and i really thought he wold say no. but he didn't. he went in the shop with me and we came out with the new memer of our family...bugs.

so we were a 2 rabbit family for a few months and enjoying it although bugs and hugo didn't get on so well to begin with!!

then a pets at home store opened up near us. i went in one day to get some hay (and guess what happened!!!) i saw this cage full of tiny baby fluffy lops on the shop floor. they weren't being put out yet coz the bigger rabbits hadn't been sold. (i kind thought my husband wouldn't let me have one) i asked the man how old they were, what breed bla bla, just so i could enjoy going through the motions of buying a baby bunny, and when i'd bought my hay, i went outside and rang my husband at work to test the water so to speak, coz we already had to 2 really big hutches in the house and we would have to buy another hutch, and he said no intially, but i said they were so bloody cute and i really really wanted one and he said ok. so i come with hay, and a baby in a box, and a new hutch on the back seat!! on the way home i take her to my friends and i cry with amazement at just how cute she is, and this is out baby lily.

when i get home i wait for hours for my husband to finish work and he comes in and sees lil and absolutely falls in love with her and tells me to go and get one of her sisters for her to live with. so i go to work the next day, i finish at 2 and man it was the longest 5 hours of my life (apart for the day in october when i got married after work!!) waiting for my shift to be over so i could go and get another one!! but it finished and i brought home bella!! and that is my rabbit story!! a long one but a happy and kinda spontaneous one!!

i forgot to say, that after we bought bugs home, whether it was out of jealousy i don't know, hugo became a different rabbit. b4 she would run awa from the slightset movement of your hand but now she will jump on you and push your hand till u fuss her and u can fuss her for hours with out her getting bored. she follows my husband round and circles him like mad. she cwtches on the bed with him. she is lovely lovely little girl now!! and we have them all litter trained. took me one day!! was brill rabbits we have!!
