It got so warm this afternoon that I threw a watersoaked towel over their tunnel. The clay part must have become lovely and cool because you can see Fliss asleep leaning against the side of it!:lol: The haziness is due to me having to take the pic between the wire mesh.

Good idea about the wet towel will try that with the piggies :D
 
I was really surprised at how cool the wet towel kept the pipes..even the plastic ones.:) There's no shade at all on the back lawns till late afternoon and although I put up stuff to create some shade it's still pretty hot, so being able to keep the "tunnels" cool for them is important. We've a big chest freezer we used to put them in for an hour or two(the pipes, not the buns:lol:), but it's too full at the moment.
