It's Bracken this time. She didn't want her dinner last night so I brought the pair of them in.... I'm going to start calling my ensuite the hospital ward
I spoke to Mark (my OH) about it which it's really nice to be able to do cos I do go into mini panic mode and he manages to be calm and logical for me
Couldn't quite put my finger on the problem, the obvious thought was stasis because she wasn't eating but it didn't feel like that. So I kept an eye on her and was syringing a watery science recovery mix into her, and by about 2.45am I noticed she'd started to tilt. She was falling over when she tried to get into the litter tray but her head was only slightly tilted. By the time I got up this morning - to phone the vet as soon as they opened she was laying in the litter tray but she was obviously leaning to the side alot more.
The vet thinks it's EC. The pair of them are now on a 28 day course of baytril and panacur and if the hiding it in food doesn't work they are soooo not going to be impressed with being picked up every day for a month!
