Is there certain part(s) of the timothy hay that has higher fiber contents than the other parts?

Please vote

We have stem, leaves, seedhead. Because the stem is the hardest to bite down, I thought if the stem of the hay is inside the stomach, that the bite-down stem can lubricate the digestive system better than the leaves or the seedhead as the leaves or the seedhead is too soft compares to the stem.

So, it's actually a 2 part question:

i) Does stem has more fiber?

ii) Does the nature of the stem lubricate the digestive system more because of how hard it is compares to the softness of leaves and seedhead?
