can ivermectin be used for mites in rabbits bun in a mess help !!!!

ive just picked up a bunny tonight who is in a bit of a mess:cry::cry:
his claws are overgrown, his teeth are very overgrown and he has mites the name begins with c but not sure how to spell it :oops:
ive got some ivermectin can i use it to start treating the mites or not if so how do i work out the dosage
