Neutering boys????

Hi

At what age do you have youre boys neutered????

I was under the impression it should be roughly 4 months (when their plums drop)

But i have read twice on here tonight about 8 weeks????

My boys are 10 weeks tomorrow and would really like them done as soon as is possible.

My vets philosophy is 'if you can see it you can snip it' :shock:

my vet will do them from 4 months as long as the plums are down. i just had my boy done at 5 and a half months.

My vet said around 3-4 months, as long as they are big enough for him to *handle*

Upton's plums were never present when he was examined until he was 11 months old lol :roll: Late developer. :lol:The vet wouldn't neuter him before that as they said that it would be a harder operation to put him through if they had to go rooting around looking for them.
