Hay worry not eating

Hi all i have 2 frenchies that have a nice big shed as theyre house, they have good quality pellets every day , and veg 3 times a week, i give them plenty of fresh meadow hay everyday but they seem to be more interested in laying on it! Dont really eat it? They do have free run of the garden eating grass all day, could this be why they dont want theyre hay? should i be worried?

When mine are out on the grass all day, they don't eat much hay either. Grass is much more tasty. As long as they are eating tons of grass, I shouldn't worry.

Try cutting down on the pellets as sometimes that helps but could be cos of the grass there eating.
