to deep clean or not to deep clean?

Had planned to do a deep clean Marbles pen whilst he (still got to think HE) was at vets all day. but now i wonder if it would be less stress for Marble to come back to familiar smells?
What do you think?

What was he at the vets for? Neutering? If so I would personally go for a good clean to minimise any problems, but leave his toys etc unwashed so it still smells of him.

I agree. If he has had an op, I would clean it properly, if it was for an x ray or something that won't have an external wound, I'd probably just spot clean if it is not too bad to start with.

I'd deep clean too. I love the cleaning out aspect of rabbit care.

sorry took so long to respond, friend called for a cuppa.
Marble is (should ve had by now) having a castration op.
Am about to get my sleeves rolled up again and give a semi deep clean, so there are familiar smells but have to say the floor is washable plastic sheet and has a good wipe every day anyway.
