Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Update on my seizure bun, Betty.

Young Bun
Hi again,
Just an update thought all was well with Bettys seizures, I hadnt noticed her do it for ages, untill the past two weeks, she has had three.
I took her to the vets again this weekend, shes had a blood test for EC, results in two weeks. Now she is on Panacur syrup and Baytril.
Then her eyes have started watering within two days of starting Panacur and Baytril, we have been given Tiacil to control it. (We are thinking possible allergy).
If it turns out she doesn't have EC. My vet said he will be asking a specialist in from a University to help, possibility its epilepsy.

Any thoughts or ideas welcome!;)

I can't offer any help but i just wanted to say i hope you get to the bottom of Betty's problems. Sending lots of get well soon vibes:)
