Strange Q - pics of teeth

Bump... im trying to show her that if her bunny doesn't eat enough hay, he will end up with overgrown teeth...

she keeps buying rubbish short hay that the rabbit doesn't like x

OMG, I once googled malocclusion in rabbits, it was sickening stuff. My lot are drowned in hay as a result of my malocclusion paranoia.

i found this some time ago and we even printed it out and the vet has it up on his "bunny wall" in the room to show rabbit owners about molar spurs

http://community.livejournal.com/bunnyowners/2841528.html

now molar spurs is fully appreciated by novices like i was 7rabbits ago.

heres a fairly mild but disturbing one to show her...

broad leaf hay is the best..timmy hay esp..the wiry stuff is good for lining the litter trays with like i do with ours and then they have a massive heap of timmy hay on top of that..so they scoff the good stuff then settle down to bunny business or a snooze on the other stuff.

tell her that bif had a few dentals..one almost 3 weeks apart..she has been on timmy hay for a year and ahalf and hasnt had a dental for over a year....the vet was changed a year ago too so that helped!! but the timmy hay is the best not that dry awful stuff frompet shops!
