My little bunny Mike has got a bad leg at the mo.
The Vet and I have come to the conclusion that he got bitten on the leg in his previous home, and it has got infected and now the infection has got really bad. Basically, he can't put weight on his front leg, it has gone into a huge hard lump with a massive black bruise thing all over it.
He was admitted to the vet all day on Tues so they could investigate into what has happened to it and while he was there they shaved all the fur off his leg so we can moniter what is going on with the swelling/bruise.
The moisturising bit.... vet thinks that the black bruise bit will scab up and fall off, (and when Miffy was spayed her skin where they shaved started to go really dry so this has got me thinking too) so i am thinking is there something i could use to put on Mike's leg if it starts to go dry? I don't want it to be any more itchy and irritating than it already his for him, poor chap
