also have many times a day should we be feeding them??n how many time shall i give them greens???
thanks ever so much for replying

i did think of using one but didnt no if they would use it as they have never had one before is there anything i can put underneath the sawdust?

If they are using one corner they should use a litter tray. Most people use them as it means you can easily clean it every day.

Put some of their soiled /wet sawdust(though find an alternative to sawdust asap as it's not good for them and can cause respiratory problems as the urine causes a chemical reaction with something in the sawdust) in a litter tray and put the tray in the corner they've been using. It's a good idea to get the biggest one you can find with a high back. Those little corner things aren't much use unless you've got tiny rabbits. Until they are well and truly trained don't deep clean the tray for a while as it needs to smell like a bunny loo ! Just remove most of the wet litter every day. Put some hay at the front of it so they can munch as they go.:) Good luck!

what could i use instead of sawdust then???straw???i will def try using a litter tray it will be worth it in the end thanks

Megazorb is good and cheap. You can get it online or from horse bedding suppliers. Pick up if you can as the delivery charges more than double the cost. My local rescue uses woodshavings without any problems. Claire

My rabbit and guinea pig live together. Their bedding is done in 3 layers.
A thick layer of newspaper, thick layer of saw dust and thick layer of hay or straw.
I feed mine once a day ( a night ) and a carrot and celery every morning.
My babies are very very tubby!
Hope that helps

Only that your daughter wants to be a porn star and your husband cleans himself with toilet cleaning wipes, the usual stuff :lol:

Don't think we should be chatting on this thread, it belongs to someone else :D

i use just newspaper and hay in my letter trays and i clean them out everyday

I only use newspaper and lots of hay - you can put a whole newspaper in and only need to change it every day then :) It's great when they decide which is their toilet :)

I agree if they always use the same corner they will most probably use a litter tray..mine did...just fill it with toilet litter and put some poo's in it...then you only have to empty the toilet intead of cleaning the whole corner of the hutch

Definitely get them a litter tray and put it in the place they've been using as a toilet - they will adapt to using it, no problem!
I would highly recommend Megazorb. It's very absorbant and economical as it comes in huge sacks.
Good luck!
