OMG I was clipping my bunnies hair around her bottom this morning (lionhead breed) and I noticed a sore right next to her bottom Im so worried it's flystrike. It doesn't help that as I was cutting her hair I nicked her skin too that's how I noticed another wound.

Can you see any eggs? Just keep an eye on her and check her regulary. I would also pop to the vets if you are worried x

I would bathe the area with some cooled boiled water and put a little sudocrem on the area and the place you nicked...I would get both checked by a vet to make sure infection doesn't set in

According to this link, you should not bathe the bunny if you suspect a fly strike: http://therabbithouse.com/blog/?p=17 But I guess it doesn't hurt bathing her if it isn't fly strike.

Damp fur attracts flies..that's why they suggest not bathing buns at risk
in this case the rabbit has a sore area with no sign of maggots..therefore I would still recommend cleaning the area before adding some sudocrem:D
