For rain and wind proofing I use corrugated plastic on my runs about £4.99 for a 6ft x 3ft piece from B & Q. I either use blue tarapaulins over the hutches or bench covers in a clear heavy plastic :) They are in the pound shop just now :)

For hot days I fill empty plastic lemonade bottle half way up with water and freeze them. Then pop them in the runs. Ice cubes in water bowls are also appreciated :) I also try and place my hutches in the shady parts of the garden and have been known to place fitted sheets over hutches/runs to shade them too

cheap clear shower curtains are fantastic for covering the front of hutches to protect from wind and rain. just use large clips to clip top and bottom. you can get cheap clear curtains from 99p.

Are we allowed to give brand names of custom made hutch covers here?
