New Kit
I have a 7 year old house rabbit (mini Lop) called Toby. He has been house trained for many years however over the last 5 months or so he has been weeing on the floor outside his cage. I have noticed that not always but sometimes his wee is thick and creamy looking, and if left to dry becomes almost chalky. Toby has always gone to the toilet in his sawdust which absorbs the wee straight away so I am unsure as to wether this is normal for a rabbit or if I need to get him to the vet.
Also on the subject of him weeing on the floor - does anyone have any ideas why he might be doing this after all this time as it is now causing problems, I have two young children who adore him but are now spending less time with him because of the unhygenic mess he is making. Up until recently he had the full run of the house when we are home but now I have had to start restricting him his room only. We have recently got a Bearded Dragon but they have nothing to do with each other and are housed in separate rooms however could our new arrival somehow upset him?
Thanks for any advice you can give
