Bud has been poorly - he has had a poorly tummy which turned out to be an infection. He has had antibiotics and is ok now. He's eating ok and jumping around for carrot tops!!!:)
The only problem seems to be that he isnt now eating his soft poops (cant remember proper name sorry!!). Is this really bad for him and what can I do to encourage him?
Poor little Buddy has really had a tough time lately
what does he eat in a typical day? how much of everything? might give some idea as to why he's leaving caecal poops :)

Has he ever had dental problems?

he has never had dental problems and his teeth were checked when he was poorly.
he gets the same amount of food as he used to - less if anything as i'm trying to encourage more hay eating!!! they get a small handful of pellets between them morning and night. a handfull of veg between them at tea time and hay throughout the day. I have reduced the pellets to try to get them to eat hay.

Could it be that there is a different taste to cecals and so not eating them as doesn't like the taste, this can happen!
read it in Frances Harcourt-Brown book I think or someone on here mentioned it the other day:D
