toys!!!!

is anyone mad like me?
im always making toys for our pets..and on the look out for things that would make a good toy!
parsley likes to chew...we bought a wigwam from west wales willows and he destroyed it in weeks!
ive made a mobile from toilet roll tubes filled with hay ,that i suspended from the top of their pens! the guineas loved it aswell!
and saved boxes and turned them into warrens and tunnels!
what other great toys have you made or found????
p@h do a carrot tree scratch post type thing for rabbits ,thats good fun too!

:wave:My Lailey loves her toys. She has a wide selection but one of her favourites is an old baby rattle, made from hard plastic. She tosses it around for ages, like at 6.30 this morning in my bedroom!!:lol: They both like cardboard boxes and willow sticks and balls. I've just bought a willow ring thing which my little girl said looks like a birds nest-which it does. Its a huge thing which is still keeping them busy.:lol:

I bought the carrot tree thing-a-ma-jigger last night. Smokey Joe has completely ignored it lol, It was a tenner aswell. Grrr.

I like to make my Mr Buns toys. Cut holes out of boxes and stuff it with hay. They love it!!

:wave: mmmmmmmm fudge and toys.......well we have lots of balls with slots in...he likes things he can fling about too.....he doesnt really do the gnawing bit....it either has to be really new or something he isnt meant to chew for him to be interested:rolleyes:

he likes his dumper truck....yes dumper truck that will deposit treats/bunny food when tipped up...and he knows how to tip it up......getting him to eat hay is interesting and even if used in boxes for fun gets totally ignored...however give hjim shredded paper and he is one happy burrowing bunny!:roll:

we give the rabbits their pellets in a dog treat ball now - they have to work to get their food and have fun pushing it around

Molly has a few favourites:-

Her giggle ball - giggles everytime it rolls about
Babies shape sorter - I stuff the holes with hay and she throws it around pulling the hay out
Dogs Hard Dumbell
