Many of you would have seen the story of the RSPCA cruelty case bun that has been brought from Wales to ARC in Twickenham.
We are running a competion to name her. Her photo and story are in RIN.
1 each name please - post it on here and I will pm you my address and Janice's pay pal account so you can choose how to pay (we don't have our own pay pal as we have wrong kind of account).
I will pick out of the hat on Saturday,

My suggestion Angel (as that's what I call her when I'm talking to her)

My daughters friend's suggestion (hope I don't pick this one out!) Flopsy mopsey cotton tail and fluff! Bit of a mouthful, don't you think?!

That's 2 towards her care already!

Hi Donna

My suggestions are:

Missy Mops (as that was what she was whilst at ours)
Spirit (as she is full of it & must be to have survived her ordeal)
Megan (good old Welsh name)
Midnight (due to her colour)
Bubbles (just because!)

If you can let me know where to send cheque / payment I can get that off to you asap.

Give her a cuddle from me.

Ange xx

Donna I have sent everyone details apart from the ever popular Jill details (her box is full up of post :D).

Sorry to those who may have got these details twice if Donna has already sent you details earlier.

I will post all money which comes via Paypal so people know it has arrived safely.

Sarah - thank you for the money for your 3 guesses.

I will leave that for Donna to answer .. in theory I cannot see a problem with that if donna puts the name in a hat twice.

It is with great sadness and huge shock that i have to report our beautiful brave girl passed away this afternoon.
She was hopping around exploring my house and eating completely normally this morning. Her breathing was seeming to improve.
When I found her she was still warm and had put herself back to bed.

Christabel has performed a post mortem and discovered a huge haemangio sarcoma of her spleen. Her uterus was showing signs of tumour too.
She says there are very few nerve receptors here so hopefully she wasn't in too much discomfort.

It seems that our lovely girl was old after all. I just hope her last few days here (and those spent with Emma) were nice for her and she was able to forget what had gone before.
I feel so sad.

Thanks everyone - it is a comfort to know she was warm, comfortable and loved at the end. I felt worse on Monday when I lost a little guinea I was nursing as he wasn't coping so well - at least 'our girl' seemed happy. Some weeks conspire to bring you down :(
The photos are bad quality but I think you can see she enjoyed exploring and coming up for nose rubs.
The Duchess has started a thread for her in Rainbow Bridge now.

I received cheques from Bunnymadhouse and Madmoo this morning - is it still OK to cash them? x

Hi Donna

It's fine to cash mine - if it's not needed towards the cost of Angel's care then Im sure it can be put to towards the many other cases you must have to deal with. xxx
