Louis bald patch

I dont know if anyone will remember but Louis had to have abdominal surgury last year and in order to do this they had to shave his tummy - I think this was around the begining of December.

Since then his fur has grown back along the scar line but not on the two sides where he was shaved - so he looks rather silly when he is upside down.

There doesnt seem to be any sign of the fur wanting to grow back. Has anyone else had this experience and did the fur ever grow back but just took forever? Im only concerned because he will be outside next winter and I dont want him to catch bunny flu

Sometimes it does take a long while to grow back, hopefully it will come back when he next molts and gets his new coat
