old bunnies?

Just had a lovely couple book their bunny in for boarding in a few weeks, they had a neutured trio, one had a stroke n lost use of her front legs and had to pts and the other died yesterday from a tumour, so the boy bunny is all alone and very sad, he was nearly 8 years old and they said they were reluctant to get him a friend as they dont know how long he has left himself..i understand what theyre saying after losing 2 so quickly.

anyone know of any elderly female buns in essex? just if he mentions it when they bring him i could offer to help?x
