rescues....how long do you wait...

I wont start pairing up a female until they have been neutered 10 days, they usually stay with me for a few days after this before going out to their new home.
 
thats what i thought. its only just hit me that when i rehomed pebbles from the RSPCA she had only been spayed 4 days.
