Tony is a young male rabbit who was handed over to me today, he had been discovered having been allowed to run free in the garden with another rabbit. His 'caring' owner was not interested in securing their safety, and did not returned them to their hutch at night either. Tony originally lived in an area where a number of people have said that foxes are not normally known to roam, and he lived in a garden which had fences which were in excess of 6 foot hight, according to some people this makes it a secure garden

The gentleman who brought Tony to me, had said that originally there were 2 rabbits living in a tiny hutch, he had spoken to their owner who was disinterested in them but would not rehome them. Tony's partner disappeared one day and has not been seen since. When this gentleman reported to the owner he had not seen one of the rabbits for a few days, the owner was not in the least concerned to hear that one of her rabbits had gone missing.
Tony was removed from the garden by this kind man and has been handed over to ARC to find him a loving home. He assures me that the owner does know that he has taken the rabbit and he is being handed over to ARC.
Tony is a lovely rabbit, I am assuming about 3 - 4 months at the very maximum as his testicles have only just started descending. In a couple of weeks Tony will be neutered and start his vaccination programme.
Tony will be lookign for a home in the near future to be paired up with a female. By his size I would assume that he will be a small - medium size rabbit. He would love a nice big hutch with a run attatched as he has spent a number of weeks free range. He is currently living in a 6 foot hutch with me  EDIT: have to admit I am not living in the hutch with him
