Rabbits and rugs

Hi All

We are decorating our front room and currently have laminate flooring and a rug... we want to get a new rug but the ones that I can find (and really like) are the shaggy pile type... btu I am worried about the buns catching their claws in it... anyone had this problem or experience? Any advice before I buy one?
