Joey is BONEY!

:shock: So our only boy bunny Joey is 8 months old...hes always been a lad with a big appetite and he does eat a lot. Hes had absolutely no problems with his weight until a few days ago...Now im really pretty worried...we can feel a lot of his bones! And i mean quite severely...his hip bones and little front leg ones especially...the hips mostly. We have only noticed this tonight and are considering taking him up tot he vets first thing tomorrow...although he is still eating a lot. This has come on very suddenly...basically he was fine a few days ago

None of our other bunnies are having problems and if anything they eat less than him (theyre smaller girls)

Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? Growth spurt perhaps?

Thank you so much, were worried:(

He was neutered a few weeks back if this makes a difference

worms? e-cuniculi? both result in weight loss, and both need a course of panacur - longer if treating e-c - hopefully your vet will know :)
