have seen this post am shocked and appaled although the girl seems to want to help the buns so have asked her to come on here if she can. the teacher should be condemned for his cruelty and neglect. can anyone on here possibly take in a rabbit in this condition...i think it may be paralysed or have ec? it reminded me of a bun that got a new home recently.

I wouldn't be able to help that poor rabbit, sadly, but that muppet of a teacher needs reporting to the RSPCA.
It's such a sad situation.

I agree that the teacher's other animals need to be looked at re their condition. Has this been suggested to the girl? Although it would put her in a difficult situation. What kind of example is this so called teacher setting?

She says her teacher is not cruel but has alot of animals and cant afford the vets bill, why on earth does he have animals if he cant afford to give them the care they need? That poor bunny :(
I think the OP is in the USA otherwise I would suggest Jay at Ebony eyes may have been able to take the rabbit. She deals with a lot of disabled bunnies.
I suspect the shelter will PTS.
