I agree about P@H and there lack of staff knowledge about most of the animals they sell, but I think in my area the store Pampurred Pets is by far worse then P@H. For over a month at every opportunity I went into the store in Gosport to repeatedly tell the staff that the Hamsters could not access there water and the rabbits couldn't either. I also told them that I have for now made it so the poor things could get some water as one member of staff once said that they do check all the animals water supply is available and in working order at the end of the day!
:censored: Oh so that's alright then if there not dead by the end of the day they be ok!:censored:
The more smaller local pampurred pet store in cosham keep their livestock in tiny cramped wire cages with sometimes 2 -3 rabbbits in one cramped wire floored cage.(probably mixed sex aswell)
Plus there's a guy in the Gosport store who seems to be more senior than the other staff has on numerous times recommened keeping guinea pigs and rabbits all in the same enclosure as he does with his!
"Rabbits are easy to look after, just throw them your vegatable peelings after your roast dinner they love!" including potato peelings!
My other half has banned me from going in there now as I keep getting into arguments with mothers who give in to their kids and say, if you got enough money on you to buy the rabbit and the hutch then you can have one! So far I have put of at least 6 parents letting the kids have a rabbit, especially when pointing out that the way there kids are banging the pen sides and poking at the rabbits will more than likely result in the rabbit either dying of a heart attack or the rabbit taking the kids finger off!
