ARC need new shed

Any one have any fundraising ideas for us to buy a new shed or have any links to places that might let us have one at a discount?

All our lofts, sheds and garages are full to bursting with supplies and fundraising equipment. One of our fosterers has space to take down her small shed and put up a bigger one. Trouble is they are hundreds of pounds!
 
You could try contacting a few companies and offering some advertising on their behalf to try and get a discount? E.g. adding their name/website to the ARC website or to a few leaflets etc. if you do them, saying "Shed from ----"? May seem a bit tacky but if it gets you a discount it'll be worth a line or two of blurb on a few publications?
 
You could do a raffle or ebay charity listings? We could all donate a few nice new rabbit things to help raise interest?
 
Yep - freecycle would be a good place to look - our small(er) shed will be on it's way to a new home this weekend - if we hadn't posted it on here, it would have gone on freecycle or the dump...
 
diy stores

if you ask at your local diy store, homebase, bandq, etc, they usully give a really good discount on display models, when they are rotating stock, but depends who you speak to and what mood they are in :roll: !
 
Donna I wouldn't mind contacting some diy cos. for you to see if anyone could do a good price on a display model. I may also be able to donate some items for a sale, esp good on eBay. pm if helpful or we can chat next week!

Do you need a new run at all? I have Darcy's old puppy pen here which would be good for small/med buns or baby big buns. My dad is buying himself a van in the next couple of weeks and then is coming up to mine for a visit so I could I pursuade him to drive us up to you to deliver it - if you need/want it? x:D

I managed to get a 12ft x 10ft shed on ebay recently for £15! Couldnt believe it as it was very good quality too. Def worth keeping a check on there as well as all the add sites. Here are some sites for you to check out (if you havent already done so). Some of them, such as trade it often advertise items 'free to collector' so also worth checking this section out. I recently posted on forum about a free shed that was in Bristol - not sure if anyone checked it out tho. Good luck with your search. If I hear of anything I shall let you know.

Fab no probs. Will let you know when my Dad has van and date hes coming up. Have just found an old medium sized high back litter tray as am unpacking more boxes. I will give it a good spruce up and bring that with me with the pen if it will be handy for you? :D
