We have a problem ....

i dont know if youll remember Hippo , Roo and Piglet who Tracey handreared and decided to keep .

well the original plan was a threesome ...but this didnt work out so Tracey ended up with A hippo and roo pair and piglet on his own ...

then she paired piglet with his mum ...didnt last long ..things turned nasty and ended up in a huge fight and Mumm being taken back out .

piglet is still on his own for now .

Hippo and Roo spend a lot of time cuddled up together but Roo is a jealous girlie and will nip and chase him away when anyone goes near the hutch . Hippo doesnt have any insisors so cant nip back and is usualy very submissive.

the last few days this has got worse ...to the point where Tracey is expecting blood and guts :(

Should she split them....or stick it out and hope things settle .:(:(:(:( dont realy know what to do and doesnt want to end up with another 3 single unhappy bunnies . :(

Is there any way that Hippo and Roo's hutch can be moved well away from the sight and smell of other Bunnies, at least for a few months (especially Springtime) so as to establish a closer bond. Refered aggression may always be a problem but it would be a shame to split them if they could stay together away from everyBun else

theres no way to move them realy ...its a huge double decker .

we are wondering if it has anything to do with some new arrivals .
A mum with 3 , 2 week old babies arrived . we are wondering if this upset things ...

we have just had a big re shuffle . mum and babies are now at mine .... we are going to try not having any unspayed females at Traceys for the next month or so .

They already get out everysingle day for hours at a time :?

dont know what else we can do .
