Can you gauge their size?

Hi,

I am a new member & (my appologies if I have posted this in the wrong place), soon to be a bunny mum again, having just reserved a bonded pair of lops from Woodgreen, via the Rabbit Re-Home site.

Roo & Tigger were described as large lops (giant mix & dwarf lop cross). They are now 15 & 18 weeks old & weigh 1.56 & 1.62 k respectively (at 12 weeks).
What I was wondering is if it is possible to gauge their adult weight/size from their current weight & age.

Probably an impossible question to answer, but just curious. I am planning an 8 x 6ft playhouse to cover any eventualities!:D

My two rexes weighed that much at 12 weeks and they'll probably end up just over 3kg fully grown judging by their parents. But you can't really predict especially if they're cross breeds as they could end up a big dwarf size, or small giant size. Anywhere between 2.5 and probably 4.5kg maybe bigger.

An 8 x 6ft playhouse will be big enough even if they grow to the size of giants provided they have a large run.
