im not to far from Twickenham vets where Christabel seems to perform her miracles:D i have been using my local vet for 4 years now shes not really a bu specalist but is very nice to me and my buns if i ever need any kind of medi she trusts my judgement which is also very nice of her, but im just wondering if i should sign up with Twickenham aswell or if i can? just so i have a specialist in dire emergencies?!:)

my buns are registered at two different vets, in fact its three different vets!

Wispa is registered in reading and barrow

Zola is registered at 2 in barrow (our main vet charged too much for neutering!)

If you need to see a specialist you need to ask your current vet for a referral. You should only be registered with one vet at a time :)

Sorry, to clarify, I mean different animals can be registered in diff places but only one vet per animal otherwise they dont have the complete medical notes.

just say that ou feel the need to transfer to a new vet closeby who is a specialist...

my vets r ace, no intentions of changing...

Love my vet, she really does care about my fluffies, but love my bunsters a whole lot more - I'd def. make the change! :D

my mom used the rspca to spey her dog years ago and she had to sign a form to say they could take all the records from the other vets she used and that the rspca place would be the new vets..... same as us i think we are only allowed one docter

We have clients who live far away and use us for their buns but use a local vet for the other animals and emergencies. You just have to make sure that all history is faxed to the other branch at each visit, which isn't a problem and takes 2 minutes.
