We've been trying to litter train our bun, Freddy, for some weeks now - he seems to have got the hang of using the litter trays in his own room, haven't found any puddles in there but as soon as I come home and let him out he wee's wherever he can. Each time he does that, I say 'No', pick him up and put him in his tray. We mop up the wee with tissue and put that in the try too.
Secondly, he poops EVERYWHERE.
Should I just pick an evening and sit in his room with him and keep putting him in the try til he works it out?
Have to find a solution soon or hubby's going to lose it. I was pretty surprised OH liked having Freddy indoors, if Freddy doesn't get the hang of this soon he may change his mind.
I've been trying to keep Freddy confined to his own room and the kitchen so as not to widen the area too much, but bit difficult with family coming and going all the time. Last rabbit was litter trained in a few days - so quick - poor Freddy, he's as cute as a button, but a bit slow on the uptake, bless him - unneutered too - but can't do anything about that due to his health at the mo..
