bunny pen size?

Where on the site is the 'official' listing of proper size of pens for rabbits? I know someone with a rabbit it a 31 x 19 x 21 pen, where she is kept pretty much 24/7. I'd love to not be the one to advise her and become enemies, so I would like to have an "official" size requirement instead of my own word, IYKWIM.

I'm not sure what the laws are in the US/your state. Your local humane society would probably be the best people to ask - they may have some info on their website also.

In the UK minimum size recommended by the RSPCA is:

Their accommodation should have a sheltered sleeping area of at least 6ft x 2ft x 2ft with an attached 6ft x 3ft run to allow them to sit up straight and look around.
